Procurement Officer
Qualifications and Experience
The PO shall have at least Bachelor's degree in management/business administration with any
other additional qualification that is necessary to manage the overall procurement function. S/he
shall have at least three years’ experience in procurement management preferably with an
international organization. S/he should have knowledge of the laws governing procurement by
the government or public institution, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-
disciplinary team.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Prepare and keep updated all the procurements related documentation as per the
LRBSU’s standard of compliance.
Support on preparing reports and any other documents that are required for the logistic
support to DDCs/DoLIDAR and others logistics.
Coordinate and support to work with Custom offices, GoN offices, Ministries and
Departments regarding procurement related issues.
Other small or large procurement (logistics) that include but not limited to: office
equipment, appliances surveying instruments, field equipment. Machineries, spare parts
for machineries. (roller, compressor, drilling machines) and computer/printer based on
specification etc.
PO should ensure the insurance status of all types of fixed asset, vehicles and other
inventories.
PO should support on follow up the insurance claims for assets loss and CAR policies.

LOCAL ROADS BRIDGE PROGRAMME (LRBP)
Up to date records of inventory for office assets and store operation in central office and
site offices.
Support on visa renewal process for expatriate staff.
Carry out any other task as and when necessary for the office.
