Born in Ireland, Blessed Columba M armion served for
several years as a priest in Dublin before fmding a vocation
to the monastery. He eventually became Abbot of Maredsous
Abbey, Belgium. One of the foremost spiritual masters of the
twentieth century, his books, acclaimed by popes and lay
faithful alikc, wcre translated into eleven languages, and sold
