It is my pleasure to recommend Jeffry Ogden, for employment at your school. His excellent performance as a
Vocal and General Music Educator in the Washington Elementary School District is evidence that he will be a
valuable addition to any school and district.

Upon meeting Jeffry and being in his classroom for just a few minutes, I knew he was a stellar educator. Jeffry
distinguishes himself by consistently executing exceptionally well-planned, effective instruction, the design and
implementation of assessments and his continued pursuit of excellence through a variety of musical
performances at his school and within our district. He has a strong understanding of effective teaching
strategies, vocal pedagogy, choral literature and effectively utilizes a prescribed curriculum leading his students
to an incredibly serious understanding of music. Jeffry is highly intelligent, has good analytical and
communication skills, is a consummate professional and he is kind.

Jeffry takes initiative, is collaborative and is a leader among his Music teaching colleagues. Most recently, he
just completed his role as the director of our elementary honors choral group. Jeffry worked with all thirty-two
elementary schools and organized our young, exceptional vocal musicians into a stellar performing group. He
led in weekly, evening rehearsals and guided the students to new heights of excellence both in vocal tone and
with rigorous literature selections. His work finished with an incredible evening performance for the families
and WESD community. Mr. Ogden’s performance in Washington Elementary School District is a powerful
indication of how he would perform in any educational setting. He would be a positive asset to your program.
