FIRIA
Some 8000 light years away from Earth, there’s a planet. It’s called “Firia” by its people. There,
time doesn’t exist. For you see, the people themselves don’t age. It might as well have been our planet
but no, it is so much less complicated than the chaotic planet Earth.

Firia’s environmental components are like Earth’s. They have soil, water and air. Except their air
is a different element. It is blue in color and much denser than oxygen. It can only be inhaled by the
Firian people. And if a human were to step on Firian soil, he wouldn’t see a thing. His vision would be
clouded with the color blue, he might as well be blind.

There are only about a million Firians and they live together harmoniously. The Firian people
look like the aliens shown on the television. And yes they can talk telepathically. They don’t age and they
don’t die. They don’t reproduce as well. Just like humans, they grow crops for food.

Firia is divided into 2 square shaped continents. The one on the left called “Fi” is where they
plant their crops. There is just one mountain surrounded by miles and miles of crops grouped into
categories. On the other continent called “Fen” is where the Firian people live. They built bunks
underground kilometres deep. This is where they sleep and eat, basically like a house. On the surface of
Fen are thousands of huge domes. This is where they “work”. Inside the domes are computer-like
structures they use to study the universe and other beings like humans.

Each Firian is tasked to do one job but to them it isn’t work. To them it is a way of giving back to
their own world. To them it is a responsibility. They don’t get paid for it. They don’t need to. In their
world, there is no money. They are given everything they need by the government. Everything is fair.
Everyone is fair. Some Firians are tasked to go to Fi to plant crops. But they don’t do manual labor. Their
technology is advanced enough and they have built machineries that will do all the work for them. They
just have to supervise everything. The ones that are assigned inside the huge domes of Fen study the
outer space. They are curious as to why they are how they are and why beings like Humans are different
from them. There are times that they have abducted some humans to experiment on them. They were
puzzled by the human emotions. Firians, although organic in nature, operate more like robots. They
don’t have emotions and they just do what they are told. Their main concern is the welfare of their own
people. They will do everything to protect their planet and will annihilate anything that will threaten
their peace.

Firians are simple people, living in a simple world. Just like humans they can thrive on simple
things. But to them this universe is survival of the fittest and they will do everything they can to do just
that.
