multitude of invalids. And midway
into the Feast, Christ bound a man
who had been paralysed for 38
years. And, speaking as our Master,
He said to him: Dost thou want to
be made well?’ And in response, the
invalid said to Him: ‘Lord, I have no
man to put me into the Pool when
the waters are troubled.’ And Jesus
said to him: ‘Take up thy pallet.
Behold! Thou has been made well!
Sin no more!’ At the Intercessions of
the Theotokos, O Lord, send down to
us Thy Great Mercy!
Now and ever, and to the Ages of
ages.

It is the Day of the Resurrection! Let us
shine brightly for the Festival, and
also embrace one another. Brethren,
let us say, even to those who hate us:
Let us forgive everything for the

us today! A New and Holy Pascha!
A Mystical Pascha! An All Venerable
Pascha! The Redeemer Christ
Himself! A Blameless Pascha! A
Great Pascha! A Pascha of Believers!
A Pascha that opens for us the Gates
of Paradise! A Pascha that Sanctifies
all Believers!
smoke vanishes, so let them
vanish, as wax melts before the
fire.
Come now from that sight, O you
Women and Heralds of Good
Tidings, and say to Zion: Receive
from us the Joyful Tidings of the
Resurrection of Christ. O Jerusalem:
be exultant, dance and leap for joy,
for you have witnessed Christ the
King coming forth as a Bridegroom
from the Sepulchre!
So the sinners perish from the Face of
God. And let the Righteous be
glad.
The Myrrh-bearing Women at dawn
very early, standing outside the
Tomb of the Giver of Life, found an
Angel who was seated upon the
stone. And the Angel addressed

One Who is alive? Why do you

have spent all my livelihood on
Physicians, and yet I have not found
mercy.” And the Physician of soul
and body said to him: “Take up thy
bed and walk. Proclaim My Power
and Great Mercy to the ends of the
earth.”

can we not marvel at Thy
Theandric Childbirth, O Most
Reverend Maid? For while having
had no spousal congress, All-
Blameless One, Thou gave Birth to a
Son Unfathered in the Flesh, Who

way underwent any change,
intermingling or division; but He
preserved each Nature’s distinct
Identity in its totality. Therefore, O
Virgin Mother and Sovereign Lady,
Entreat Him for the Salvation of the
