The hospitality for the Krobo’s is superb and can be counted among the friendliest and most open-minded

Yilo has an active social atmosphere. Somanya, the Municipality capital is a historic trading post, attracting
a mix of cultures. The Municipality accommodates two national tourism attractions: the famous Boti Falls and
the Krobo Mountains. Mounting climbing is emerging as an important tourism activity in the Eastern Region
of Ghana.
The widely known kloyosikplemi festival is celebrated in November each year, lasting for a week and bringing
citizens and non-citizens together and presenting an opportunity for companies to showcase their products
and promote their businesses. Several rites are also observed by the Krobo’s. Notable among the rites are
Dipo, Lapomi and KadumaFiame. The celebration of these traditional cultural events attracts a large number
of visitors to the Municipality, however, there are no standard hotel and restaurant facilities to match. It
therefore presents a sound opportunity for investors in the hospitality sector to exploit. The further
