note of the changes very carefully for avoiding any last minute confusions.

(iv) Punctuality in classes (As per mail from Registrar).

1. It is necessary that the students should attend classes punctually and regularly.
2. In order to ensure that the classes commence at the scheduled time and allow time
for the students for transit from one class to another, it is essential that the actual
duration of a class hour should be restricted to 50 minutes. Thus, a class
commencing at 10:00 hrs. should get over at 10:50 hrs enabling the next class to
start at 11:00 hrs sharp. This gap of 10 minutes shall enable to move from one
class to another, and also give them opportunity to take care of their movement to
wash rooms, if required.
3. Faculty members are requested to ensure that every class starts in time and gets
over in time.
(iv) The duration of each 1 hour lecture and tutorial class has been shown as 50 minutes
and that of 2 hours laboratory classes as 1 hour and 50 minutes.

[D] If any error is detected, it may please be communicated to the departmental faculty
representatives in the timetable committee latest by 22nd January, 2016.

[E] Students having backlogs should carefully see the Time Table and register themselves
only if there is NO clashing slot for the course. For this approval of Departmental Time
Table Representative is must. They must adhere to this chart.
[F] Students having backlogs should inform in writing to the concerned faculty taking the
class, Course Coordinator and Departmental Time Table representatives about lecture,
tutorial and laboratory batches they are attending.
[G] For ready reference and convenience, lecture theatre wise, tutorial room wise and
