Regional Airport Transit Services – Airport Accord Update

Recommendation of the Committee

1. That the frequency of the 747 service be adjusted commensurate with
funding from the Accord partners effective May 1, 2018.
2. That Administration continue to negotiate participation in a jointly funded
integrated service for 2019 and beyond.
3. That Administration invite Leduc Transit to join the Smart Fare program
expeditiously as well as the ongoing regional transit governance
negotiations.

At the February 9, 2018, Inter-municipal and Regional Development
Committee meeting, the February 9, 2018, Regional and Economic
Development report CR_5562 was considered and the following motion was
passed:

That the February 9, 2018, Regional and Economic Development

report CR_5562 remain private pursuant to sections 21 (disclosure
harmful to intergovernmental relations) and 24 (advice from officials) of
the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
