Conversation Teaching Assistant ​– IES José García Nieto, Madrid 2017- Present
Currently I work as teaching assistant at a bilingual public school in Madrid. I help
teach classes in English, technology, and art. As a “conversational teaching assistant”
my job is to improve speaking skills and serve as a cultural guide for Spanish students
who are unfamiliar with American culture.
English Tutor ​– Madrid 2017- Present
After working at the institute during the day, I work part-time as an English tutor,
reinforcing reading, writing, or conversational skills.
Office Administrator – ​Office of the Vice President, Washington, DC Summer 2017
I was asked to stay on to be the office administrator for Joe Biden’s personal office after
finishing an internship with the Vice President. My chief responsibilities included
coordinating the move into the Vice President’s new personal office, correspondence on
behalf of the Vice President, sorting and responding to scheduling requests, conducting
interviews and hiring a set interns, and managing interns.
Transition Intern ​– Office of the Vice President, Washington, DC Summer 2017
One of two interns selected to help close the official business of Vice President Joe Biden
before his government office closed. Along with ​sorting, reading, and answering
correspondence, I was tasked with answering the reception desk phone, helping to
manage the office’s budget, and coordinating a move from the Vice President’s
government office to his private office.
Landscaping and Translator​ – Ginkgo Gardens, Washington, DC
Summer 2016
Summer employment at a local garden business where I learned landscaping skills,
business operations and served as a translator between the owner and landscaping
employees.
Internship​ – Committee on the Judiciary, United States Senate, Washington, DC Summer 2015
One of 6 interns selected by Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) for his summer internship
program at the Judiciary Committee. In addition to preparing staff and attending
hearings, I was given several research projects and delivered memos to staff used in
advising the Senator and Committee staff.

Participated in a trader training program where I learned basic economic components of
trading agricultural commodities in a multinational corporation.
