Purpose of this assignment

 Acquire an understanding of Computer Aided Design tools for producing architectural drawings
 Gain an understanding of current applications of architectural computer drawings and drawing
standards
 Acquire skills of using AutoCAD to create full scale 2D drawings and 3D perspective images
 Acquire skills of using REVIT Architecture application for creating integrated 2D and 3D drawings

Scenario: Propose to client, Mrs Anne Casas a model of her residence, in reference to the Autocad dwg
attached.

Task1 -1.1(Architectural Drawings)

Students are to produce the following architectural drawings: Location Plan, Site Plan, Ground Floor plan,
four elevations, two sections, 2 exterior perspective (any), 2 interior perspective (any) and 1 rendering
(either interior or exterior), including all necessary annotations (text, tags, dimensions, room legends, room
areas etc. refer to assessment criteria)

Task 2 – 1.1 (Detail Drawings)

Students are to produce a minimum of two call – outs to show detailing.
