The airport of Malaga disposes of three connected terminals for regular commercial transport.
In fact, the three terminals are considered as a single terminal. 
In addition, it disposes of a small and independent General Aviation Terminal (GA), which is
destined to passengers of private ights and sporting ights etc., as well as a Cargo Terminal,
which is situated in the north of the airport.

The main international destinations from Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport are London/Gatwick,
Dublin, Manchester, London/Stansted, Paris/Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam/Schiphol, Brussels
and Copenhagen. The main national destinations are Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas in Madrid,
Barcelona El Prat and Palma de Mallorca.

The airport disposes of three access ways to the boarding gates -also called "Diques" or
"muelles" in some information panels at the airport-, which are situated in terminals T2 and T3.
These modules are accessed through the security checkpoint located in the departures hall of
Terminal T3. In case of congestion of the terminal, the access to terminals T1 and T2, which
are currently closed, can be easily opened to the public.

Module (Dique) B: normally, Non-European and non-Schengen passengers.

Module (Dique) C: normally, European and non-Schengen passengers.
Module (Dique) D: normally, Schengen passengers (for the European and non-European
Union).

FLIGHT CLASSIFICATION: SCHENGEN AND OTHERS

Flights are usually classi ed in three groups, depending on their origin or destination.
Schengen, EU Non Schengen and third countries.

Schengen Associated Countries:

Flights, from or to countries which signed the Schengen Agreement.

Citizens of these countries may move freely across the interior borders. International
Inter-Schengen ights as well as domestic ights are subject to the Schengen
Agreement. The Schengen territory is composed by: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovak,
Swiss and Swedish.

Non Schengen EU Countries:

Flights, from or to countries, belonging to the European Union, which did not sign the
Schengen Agreement.
Citizens of the following countries may not move freely across the inter-Schengen
borders: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, United Kingdom and Romania.

Third Countries:

Flights, from or to countries, not belonging to the European Union, which did not sign the
Schengen Agreement.

TERMINAL T3 MALAGA
Terminal T3 of the Malaga airport was designed by the architect Bruce S. Fairbanks and
inaugurated on March 15, 2010. Terminal T3 is situated in the north of terminal T2. Both
are connected through an interior passageway. The building extends over 4 oors (Level
-1, Level 0, Level 1 and Level 2).
Located outside the T3 terminal there is the Transport hub (Intercambiador de
transportes), an innovative building who permits easy to connect the airport with all
differents means of transport getting or leaving the airport.

T3 DEPARTURES
 T3 Departures hall: level 1.
Ticket o ces for airlines operating at T3.

Check-in:
 Check-in: Departures hall, T3 level 1.
 Check-in counters: from 301 to 362, and from 363 to 386, T3 level 1.

Boarding area:
Boarding area is acced through the security checkpoint located in the Departures hall
(level 1). Inside this area you can access the modules B, C and D, with passaport
checkpoint depending on the ight destination.

Boarding gates:
 Boarding gates are located on the modules in terminal T2 and T3: Module B (see T2
Departures paragraph), Module C -with 7 ngers-, and Module D -with 10 ngers-. The
distribution of the gates is as follows:

T2 level 1 - Module B: see T2 Departures paragraph.

T3 level 1 - Module C: boarding gates C31 to C40.
T3 level 1 - Module D: boarding gates D42 to D68.

T3 ARRIVALS
 Arrivals hall: level 0..

Baggage reclaim, immigration control and Customs:

 T3 level 0.
 Arrivals area has passport checkpoint depending on the ight origin.
 11 baggage carousel, and 1 baggage carousel for special baggage.

 Transport Hub
The great innovation at terminal T3 was the construction of an annex building with a roofed
square.

It is a junction, which facilitates the link of the airport through different means of transport, to
the city of Malaga and other urban and interurban destinations.

From this transportation hub, you can comfortably reach the bus station, the pedestrian
access to parking areas P1 and P2, the taxi rank, and the RENFE train station. In front this
transport hub, you can nd also the long-distance arrival bus stop.
