Giving Up Superiority - submitted by Ginna Crocker

John 4:5-42
No make up. A little late. Running in the rain. Broken yet Beautiful. Scattered but Free. Did I have to strive to achieve this
beautiful freedom? No mam. Am I thankful to be walking in this lot that I have been given? Yes sir.
Humility has automatically been placed upon me through a little girl named Grace Crocker. When I hear the word,
“superiority,” I think of words like in charge, knowing the answers & having it together. Because of the special needs our
daughter has, I live in a state of needing Jesus, asking for help and not fitting or living like, “the norm.”
Thankfully, “giving up superiority,” is not normally a struggle of mine, as my life circumstances have landed me in a place
of non-superiority. If you are considering “giving up superiority,” I encourage you to!
A verse that comes to mind is when Jesus tells us, “…my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

physical and hot, yet we always seem to have a good time. The mission of Walk to Emmaus is: Empowering
