Sidekick?, etc.):
o Vega is the main character and heroine of the story.

o The character first appears after a short scene depicting her parents going off to

 Relationships with Other Characters:
o Vega is easily seen as the leader among her peers, however the close friends that
she have made can see when she needs something or someone and take care of
her rather than her taking care of them.

Scenarios:

While the following scenarios are not specific to any game, they will help to further define your
character's persona.

girls her own age. She grew up around rowdy shipmen and mechanics. She was
quick to learn how to hold her own against anyone, regardless of their gender.
Character Growth (How is the character different at the end of the game or story from
when the game or story began?):

When she was younger, Vega was very rough around the edges. It was hard to tell her
anything that didn’t match the way that she thought. She only wanted to make her family proud
and complete the journey that her mother started. As the story progresses, she understands who
she is as a person and what she needs to do for herself, not just for her mother.

Describe a small segment of a narrative that could occupy 20-30 seconds of a short
animation or cut scene from a game where your character does something that conveys
emotion: funny, sad, surprised, etc. An example would be something like this: A kid in a
karate gi stands in front of a board ready to attempt to snap it. The board is suspended
between two cinder blocks as the kid tries every move to break the board, but the board
will not budge. Finally, after falling on the floor, he sits up and leans on the board with his
elbow, chin resting on his palm with the look of frustration on his face. The board snaps
and he falls again with a thud and dust puffs up.

A crowd of people swarms the material store in town. Vega swerves between all of the
rowdy men yelling for this part and that. She uses her size as an advantage and squeezes through
the holes in the crowd, successfully making it to the front in hardly any time at all. One of the
many shop clerks chuckles when he sees her. She hands him her list of goods and he heads
towards the back to pick up the shipment for father’s spaceship repair shop. She slips under the
counter, wandering further into the shop right past the “Employees Only” sign.

Additional Notes on this Character:

Vega is on a journey not only to find treasure, but to find what her mother believes was
important enough to leave her family. Although she harbors some bitter feelings towards her
mother, she always wanted to become the adventurer that her mother was. After returning to his
home planet, Vega’s father through himself into work and often got sick from not taking care of
himself. She could tell that her father cared about her, but she could also tell he lived in a
constant state of worry because of her mother. Deep down, she hopes to find her mother and
rebuild the family that she had lost.
