Resident Profile Mario and Ginny Fucinari
News
Our family vacationed in Buckeye through a rental home, just over two
years ago. Buckeye must have made an impression on our daughter,
Nicole, because about one year later, she and her husband announced
they were moving to Buckeye. We were just going to look around at
houses, but before we knew it, we had found the perfect home at Sun
City Festival. Mario, Ginny and their dog, Piper, are living here part-
time, until we can retire in a couple of years. In the meantime, we are
getting to know the area and its people.

Mario is a chiropractic physician. He has been in practice for 30 years

in Decatur, Illinois. In addition, he teaches post-graduate education
throughout the United States and has authored several professional
books and training manuals. Although Mario travels extensively be-
tween the office and his teaching events, he always likes to relax in Sun
City Festival. Mario is a Cubs fan and a St. Louis Cardinals fan, depend-
ing on who is winning. When in Buckeye, Mario enjoys the Camera Club
and playing Euchre in the Player’s Club.

Ginny is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She and Mario originally
met in Warren, Michigan where they both worked. He was an x-ray tech and Ginny worked in the emergency
room. Ginny went to school in Alexandria, Virginia, before moving to Ft. Pierce, Florida and attending nursing
school. Upon moving to Michigan to live with her sister and find work, she met Mario. They were married in
1982. Ginny works in the insurance department of Mario’s office. Ginny likes to play pickleball, Mahjong and
Euchre in Buckeye.

Recently, our youngest daughter, Katie, announced her plans to eventually move to Arizona, where she will
not have to endure another Illinois winter. I guess the writing is on the wall! We love to travel, go hiking and
explore places in Arizona. We can’t wait to move here full-time and meet more of you!
