2: Applying the basics of image editing and photo effects

Add information explaining what tools or techniques used to edit the pictures. You are not only limited to one software. Use the downloaded pictures for this activity. Once completed, save the file in .pdf
format and submit it to your teacher.

Photoscape  Open Photoscape and click Editor.

 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 On the Home tab, click the Bright, Color.
 Click the Brighten effect.
 I chose the High Brighten intensity.
 Save Picture when done.

 Photoscape
 Open Photoscape and click Editor.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 Click on the Home tab and choose the Bright,
Color option.
 Choose the Darken effect.
 In the Picture I chose the Darken with the High
2 Intensity.
 Save picture when done.

Photoscape
 Open Photoscape and click Editor.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 Go to the Crop Tab and choose the Crop Freely
option.
 I traces the Red Line on the on the Big Monkey
3 Picture.
 Save when done.

Activity 3.2
 Photoscape
 Open Photoscape and click Editor.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 First is, I applied a Brighten Effect on the cake,
to make more focused on the picture.
 In the instruction, the boy with the white top
should be not focused. So I applied a little
4 amount of Blur effect, located on the Tools Tab,
Effect Brush and then click Blur-Low.
 After editing, save the picture.

Photoscape
 Open Photoscape and click Editor.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 On the Tools Tab, Click the Red Eye Correction.
 Select the Eye area to reduce the Red Eye
Correction.
 Save when done.

 Phtotoscape The edited file of #5 will be used to apply the effect
 Open Photoscape and click Editor. of whitening teeth.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 To whiten the teeth, I clicked the Tools tab and
clicked the Paint Brush option.
 I chose the white color.
 While adding the white color to the teeth, I am
6 also clicking the Shift tab to control the
intensity of White Color that is to be applied.
 Controlling the white color appilie don the
teeth will the edit to be more realistic.
 Save the picture when done.

Photoscape
 Open Photoscape and click Editor.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 Next is, click the Filter tab below and choose
the Pictorialization effect.
 There will be series of effects, choose either oil
or water painting. Since the instruction never
7 stated what kind of paint effect should be.
In my picture, I chose the oil painting effect.
 Save the picture.

Activity 3.2
 Photoscape
 Open Photoscape and click Editor.
 Choose a picture that you want to edit.
 Next is, click the Round tab, below the Frame
Option.
 The Round Option will appear.
 Set the Round (pixel) into 255, as well as the
Margin.
 Svae the picture when done.

 First is, click the Home Button.
 Click the Filter and choose the Smart Blur (Clear
Skin) option.
 The Smart Blur (Clear Skin) option box will

 I chose the 3.5 radius.

 Microsoft Word
 Open Microsoft and insert the chosen picture
that you want to edit.
 Click the Picture and go the Format Tab.
 Click the Artistic Effect number 3.
 Right click the picture and click the Save Picture
10 option to save your picture in a designated
folder that you want.
