S: Good morning, Ladies and gentlemen, it is my/our pleasure to be your emcee for
this seminar. Im NAME/S and On behalf of PSSE-MUSC I would like to
extend a very warm welcome to all of you. We appreciate you taking time off your
busy schedules to join us today. We hope you will learn a lot today, we have lined-
up for you to be fruitful and engaging.

May I invite everyone to invoke the Almighty, Ladies and gentleman. May I
request all of you to stand for invocation and national anthem. We would like to
start this program with a prayer and followed by the National anthem,, please All
rise respected professors and to my dear students..

J: We are about to have the seminar entitled “SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH


RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY “

To begin this program, we are pleased to have Ms. Jeramie Katigbak, the
president of PSSE to deliver the opening

Engr. Alben Bagabaldo is currently an instructor here in Mapua University. He
graduated in Southern Luzon State University and completed his master’s in
Mapua University specializing in Transportation Engineering. He also participated
in Young Future Energy Leaders (YFEL) Program at Masdar Institute of Science
and Technology and received a study tour grant in Japan.

We are all very pleased to have this afternoon Engr./ Sir Alben Bagabaldo to
discuss new eco-friendly devices and methods in the field of transportation that
may contribute in the wellbeing of our environment. Please give him a warm
welcome as he comes to the stage.

Ms. Imelda Sarmiento is currently with Philippine Native Plants Conservation
Society as well as Green Convergence for Safe Food, Healthy Environment &
Sustainable Economy and many other foundations and organizations. She was also
one of the advocates in “Piso Para sa Pasig Campaign”. She is also a founding
member of Philippine Heritage Conservation Society and Parish Pastoral Council
for Responsible Voting. Ms. Sarmiento has also been consistently an active
environmental advocate and in promoting the betterment of our countrymen’s
wellbeing.

We are all very pleased to have Ms. Sarmiento this morning to discuss our
environmental responsibilities as the future of our society. Please give her a warm
welcome as she comes to the stage.
