Before reading the story, I will ask the students questions, for example; what do you see on the cover? Can you
guess the girl name? what do you think the story is about? I will give a clue, it’s about a stripy animal and goes

While reading the story, I will read with a loud voice, I will use my finger to trace the words while reading.
And I will change my voice and expression to make it more fun.

After reading the book, I will ask the students questions; did you like the story? What was your favorite part?
From where do you think the tiger came from? Why do you think the tiger never came back?

I will ask the students to think what animal would they like to come to their house? Why? And what
food they will give him?
Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

Low ability students

- Students will have worksheet, they will color the tiger and draw a
meal for the tiger.

Students will connect the dots from 1 to 30 to complete the picture and then they will color the picture with
the orange color.
