I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, students must be able to:

1. differentiate types of speech contexts;
 2. explain the importance of effective communication skills; and
3. practice effective interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

“Let’s Warm Up”

The students will be showed a 4 in 1 word pics. They will try to guess what word was
associated with the pictures being shown

D. ACTIVITY
 The teacher will present 5 pictures to the students. The students will try to analyze
what are the different speeches out of content in every picture.
E. ANALYSIS (Interactive Discussion)
Questions
1. What can you see in the 5 pictures?
2. What are the different scenarios they are portraying?
3. Do every speakers in every picture are different?
4. Discuss your observation with regards to what is being shown in the pictures.
F. ABSTRACTION
After the students have already given their observation about the pictures the
teacher will present the Types of Speech Context . First, the teacher will introduce the
topic one at a time . Before the teacher will discuss each type of speech context, the
teacher will ask volunteers to explain how they understand it base on a short video
clip. After the recitation, the teacher will then explain each type of speech context
and allow students to raise their hands if they questions or clarifications.
G. APPLICATION
By Group : Identify and discuss the differences among the types of speech
contexts using the graphic organizers below.
