Task: Create a lesson studies on ALGEBRA topic, Choose one sub topic from the National Library of
Virtual Manipulative website from UTAH state University. The web address can be surf at
http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/vlibrary.html

Topic: ALGEBRA

Sub Topic: Point Plotter

Year: 8

Specific objective(s)
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

1. Plot the coordinate points on a graph using point plotter program.

2. Identify the horizontal x-axis and vertical y-axis.

Learning outcome
Students will be able to identify the coordinate points on the graph by following the x-axis &
y-axis.

2. How to plot the point

Basically when plotting a point the initial number should be count from zero or the origin of the
graph.

Example: Given X-axis =4 and the Y-axis=-6

Origin (0,0)

X=4

Y = -6
