BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Please briefly present the partner organisation (e.g. its type, size, scope of work, areas of specific
expertise, specific social context and, if relevant, the quality system used).

Centre of Creativity and Innovation was born in 2015 by experienced youth workers. The 3
founders of CCI are involved in youth work field since 2005. We are all working as youth
trainers in different networks. We are working with German Organisation calls Mitost which has
different program around the world. We are taking active role at the programs runs in Baltic
region, Caucasus and Balkan Region. We also worked with the previous program of European
Commission "Youth in Action" and current programme "Erasmus +"
As we are all youth trainers we created our baby organisation in order to promote alternative
way education by using creative and innovative methodologies.
We are using methods that combines artistic approaches and lead people to think out of box.
Our main focus is development of young people, social integration and social cohesion. As well
as we see ourselves as promoter of values of Council of Europe which are equality, human
rights, human dignity and rule of law.

What are the activities and experience of your organisation in the areas relevant for this
project? What are the skills and/or expertise of key persons involved in this project?

Starting from 2012 we are the part of organizational team of Bridge It programm, which works in
Baltic States and also Finland and North-West of Russia. Bridge it! is an empowerment
programme for young people from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and the North-West of Russia. It
connects people and raises their interest in the Baltic region. The program is based on non-formal
educational methods, stimulating the participants to develop critical thinking, diversity awareness
and giving them impulses for civic involvement and a space for trying out own initiatives. The
heart of Bridge It! are democratic values that live in our communication, activities and social
changes we support

What are the skills and/or expertise of key persons involved in this project?

Aleksandr Petrov for many years was the volunteer of human rights organization “Coming
Out” in Russia. As a volunteer he was engaged in organizing different seminars, educational
and culture events on the topic of diversity and gender. In 2012 he joins the programme
Bridge It in Baltic States and becomes the facilitator of the programme. Later he joins the
facilitator pool of Theodor Heuss Kolleg (program of MitOst E.v. and Robert Bosch Foundation).
For last 5 years he heas facilitated seminars in Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova,
Georgia, and Germany on the topics of: diversity, human rights, migration, sustainable
development, gender. Also he was the mentor for more than 10 projects on the same topics.
After 2016 he practices language facilitation in bilingual seminars (Russian-english)

Denis Davydov already for 15 years practice graphic design in different spheres. One of the
important part of his work is creating visual part of different social projects in Baltic States.
