Challenges in partition disputes

Human relations are often complex and cannot be set into compartments as the business
relations. Partition amongst family members is a huge issue before the courts these days, where
pure judicial approach often fails to deliver the results. The warring or litigating members of a
family thus need more than a pure commercial approach to the whole situation. We pick our
neutrals team to handle family partition disputes with utmost care and attention. Our team
members are sensitive to the emotional needs of the family members and at the same time, aware
of the financial liability and entitlements of each member. The challenges that are often faced in
a family partition dispute are:
1. Ego hassles, where the parties only want to have a respectful attitude from each other.
2. Choice of an asset----- Where both the parties chose the same asset and would not budge
to opt for another similarly situated asset or its equivalent value in cash
3. Accounting for the expenses made by one family member in the past--- often one
member would claim that he/she has spent much amount in the past for the welfare of the
entire family and that should be accounted for at the time of the partition the joints assets
of the family
4. Taking care of the elderly, is another bone of contention amongst family members at the
time of family partition
