WSUS – Windows Software Update Services.

Requirements for WSUS

Domain Controllers

Working internet connection min 2mbps or greater or lease line.

DNS server for client settings to connect to wsus server correctly.

Latest update for windows server 2012r2 before installing wsus

Valid licence software.

Seprate windows server that have domain joining.

IIS Server is required.

Wsus server port number: 8530

In Dc Go to –Add roles and features Wizard- WSUS – NEXT –SELECT WID Database & WSUS Services.

Now create folder and set path – now installed

After installed – to windows server update server configuration wizard

Then to to group policy to computer configuration – policies – administrative tempatest – windows

update –

Configure automatic updates

Select automatic download and notify to installed.

Specify the intranet Microsoft upadet server location
