Using Video to stimulate Critical Thinking

What do you need to stop and think about in regards to

this Digital Teaching component?
How to incorporate other skills such as evaluating,
synthesizing, and critiquing the video content so that
students are doing much more than just viewing with no
greater purpose.

What cautions are you thinking about as you consider

implementing the strategies you learned about in this
activity? Not to be to over zealous and over use this
method so that it loses it effectiveness. I also need to
make sure I explore numerous ways to use it so that it not
only engages students but utilizes untapped resources.
CAUTION

What specific strategies or ideas will you accelerate in

your work based on your exploration of this Digital
Teaching component?
The Watch, think and Write strategy is very similar to
something I have used before. I think this will be a very
doable strategy.

Cheat sheets are also a great way to guide students the
use of a video.
