PFA LiteCem®

Foam concentrate PFA LiteCem 1/40

Protein foaming agent of new generation has been designed in cooperation with GRIVAS specialists. It is
used for getting a high-quality lightweight cellular concrete with a wide range of densities: from 120 to 1600
kg/m3. The foam concentrate based on hydrolysate of organic surfactants and plant materials. A
distinguishing feature of the foaming agent LiteCem 1/40 is a high stability foam, which guarantees
manufacturing a quality, high-strength foam concrete. The foaming agent PFA LiteCem 1/40 is ecofriendly.

Purpose
The foam concentrate is needed for manufacturing an industrial
foam, which is produced by means of a foam generator. The foam is
used in manufacturing the lightweight concrete having an even
cellular texture
According to tests carried out, it’s recommended applying GRIVAS
foam generators as well as machines to produce foam concrete.
However, equipment manufactured by other manufacturers will be suitable as well.

Technical Properties
The foam concentrate is a black-brown liquid having a slight
specific odor.
It’s supplied in barrels of 200 L as well as plastic containers of 600 L
and 1000 L.
The recommended dose to prepare a working solution is 2,5%.
The foaming agent PFA LiteCem 1/40 is fireproof and safe for skin

Advantages of Using the Foaming agent PFA LiteCem 1/40
Key benefits of using the foam concentrate PFA LiteCem 1/40 at your production plant:
 Ecologically clean product obtained by means of hydrolyzate of organic (natural) components.
 Possess plasticizing properties.
 Cement consumption decreases while the strength is increasing. Due to a high foam stability in cement
dough, the PFA LiteCem 1/40 reduces the cement consumption by 15-25% compared to the common
(chemical) foaming agents.
 The foaming agent PFA LiteCem 1/40 is cost-effective and stable. To produce a high quality and stable
foam requires only 2,5 L of foam concentrate per 100 L of water. It’s possible to save up to 25% and
more of foam concentrate due to the ratio 1/40, which is required to prepare the working solution. In
certain cases, using too soft water leads to applying the ratio 1/55, i.e. 1,8 L of foam concentrate is
used per 100 L of water.
 Using protein foaming agent decreases significantly the shrinkage and flowability of foam concrete.
 Due to the plasticizing properties, the foam concentrate LiteCem 14/40 enables the foam concrete to
be supplied via the hose to large distance without segregating or depositing.
Why Buying the Foaming Agent PFA LiteCem 1/40 is Beneficial.
 we provide our clients with a sample of the foaming agent LiteCem 1/40 absolutely for free;
 we provide information on the production technology of the foam concrete and its recipe;
 we provide a consultation on modernizing the equipment in order to get a maximum result in
producing foam concrete;
 our own manufacturing plant is a criterion showing our company’s competence;
 the foaming agent LiteCem 1/40 is sold directly by a manufacturer or by a nearest representative in a
region and is supplied to any country;
 we carry out a fast shipping on the delivery terms EXW, FCA, CIF, CIP, FOB, DDU, DDP in accordance
with Incoterms 2010 by agreement with the customer.
 we provide for the possibility of sending our technologist to the site where the foam concrete
production process is to be launched or modernized.
 particular conditions for regular customers and regional representatives (representatives in a country)
 flexible system for dealers
How to Use a Foaming Agent
First of all, the working solution of the foaming agent should be prepared in the ratio 1:40 (2,5% solution),
i.e. 2,5 liters of foaming agent is needed per 97,5 liters of water. An optimal water temperature to prepare
working solution of the foaming agent should be 20-25 degrees. To achieve a maximum quality of foam
concrete requires the optimal water temperature, which is needed to prepare cement-sand slurry, should be
35-40 degrees.
The foaming agent solution should go through the foam generator in order to receive the foam. An optimal
weight of the foam should be 65-75 gr/L.
The industrial foam is produced by combining the working solution of foaming agent with the compressed
air, which are mixed in the foam generator. The productivity of a supplying pump as well as a compressor
depends directly on the productivity of the foam generator.
We recommend applying the foam generators manufactured by GRIVAS, since the basic parts of the foam generator
are made of stainless steel and a special filler, which is a mixing part of the generator’s body, doesn’t become rusty
and clogged. The foam generators manufactured by GRIVAS do not need almost any service maintenance and their
service life is not limited in time.
Recommendations for the Preparation of Foam Concrete

Raw materials required for producing 1m3 of foam concrete

The recommended consumption of raw materials, which is required to produce one cubic meter of foam
concrete, is shown in the table below. It’s possible to produce foam concrete of different grades starting from
a grade D300 (300 kg/m 3), which is used for heat insulation, up to heavy structural foam concrete of a grade
D1000 (1000kg/m3). Using the table, you can calculate a prime cost of the products as per your local prices.
