Findings/Recommendations: Welding on attachment welds are visually unacceptable


Defects are as follows:

1) Slag not cleaned

2) Welds not completely welded all around

3) Arc strikes on main wall

4) Guide plates not level and/or straight

Recommend chip, clean and fettle welding. Complete fillet all around and di-penetrant test 10 % of all attachments.

Straighten misaligned sections.
