THE ROLE OF CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE PROCESS OF


THE PREPARATION BH BUSINESS ENTITIES TO THE EU
ACCESSION

Abstract: The expansion and opening the door to new member states (such
as BiH), the EU is approaching regions plaguing the political and economic
crisis, creating awareness of the great importance of the introduction and
implementation of the concept of crisis management in the business practices of
domestic companies. Contemporary fiction in management crisis management
issues raised in the peak interest of theoreticians and practitioners. Special
interest in the aforementioned discipline raises because of its applicability to
the field of preventive action in terms of preventing crisis situations, and in the
domain of reactive action to exit the crisis, for those companies whose business
is already showing severe symptoms of the crisis. Emerging trend in the number
of companies that could qualified as a crisis-affected company, implies the
application of new concepts for overcoming the crisis. The research objectives
are systematized through theoretical aspects of crisis management issues, and the
results of empirical studies measuring business crisis with a focus on companies
that operate in local conditions and simultaneously undergoing reform processes
of reconstruction, retructuration and transition.

Sažetak: Širenjem i otvaranjem vrata novim državama članicama (kakva je


BiH), EU se približava regijama koje opterećuju političke i privredne krize, čime
se stvara svijest o velikom značaju uvođenja i implementiranja koncepta kriznog
menadžmenta u poslovnu praksu domaćih preduzeća. Savremena publicistika
iz oblasti menadžmenta je problematiku kriznog menadžmenta postavila u sami
vrh interesovanja teoretičara i praktičara. Poseban interes pomenuta disciplina
pobuđuje zbog svoje aplikativnosti, kako u domenu preventivnog djelovanja u
smislu sprječavanja kriznih situacija u kojima se preduzeća mogu naći, tako
i u domenu reaktivnog djelovanja u cilju izlaska iz krize onih subjekata čije
poslovanje već pokazuje ozbiljne simptome krize. Sve izraženiji trend rasta broja
preduzeća koja se nalaze u stanju krize, nameće potrebu primjene novih koncepata
za prevazilaženje kriznih situacija. Ciljevi istraživanja su sistematizirani kroz
teorijske aspekte problematike kriznog menadžmenta, te rezultate empirijskih
istraživanja dimenzija poslovne krize s akcentom na preduzećima koja posluju
u domaćim uslovima i simultano prolaze kroz reformske procese obnove,
retrukturiranja i tranzicije.
