A deposit of $350.00 must be paid at time of booking. Full payment must be made 7 days prior to the start
of the course. Payment may be by EFTPOS, EFT, cheque or cash.

Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to course start will be charged 25% of the course fee. In the
case of non-attendance for all or any part of the course, the full fee will be retained. An assessment with
less than full training hours may not be available.
A substitute trainee may be nominated if a candidate is not available, however this person must be
eligible for training at the replaced applicants competency level.

Please note the following points;

 A statement of medical condition (IRATA form 014R) must be completed by all


participants prior to the commencement of the course, on the first day.

 For Level 2 and 3 courses and re-certifications; log books, previous certificates etc must
be provided at commencement of training. If you have any questions regarding your
conformance with IRATA’s qualification requirements for a particular course please call to
clarify.

 Rope Access Technologies will provide well-paced training in line with the IRATA
Syllabus. Participants who cannot attain a pass at the assessment on completion of the
course may be charged an additional fee for further training and a second assessment,
dependent upon recommendations from the independent IRATA Assessor.

The training venue is at Unit 13, 65/69 Mark Street, North Melbourne. Melways ref 2A/ C4.

Training will run from 7.30am to 3.30 pm each day. Participants should arrive by 7.15am. Training will not
be held up for late arrivals. The training area will usually remain open until 4.00pm for participants to
continue their practice dependant on staff availability. Theory homework should be expected, particularly
at Levels 2 and 3.

Car and motorcycle parking is limited to the nearby streets which have all day limits. The early start
assists greatly with parking. There is also a station (Macauley) and bike trail (Moonee Ponds) nearby, so
please contact us regarding transport options.

Tea and coffee, a basic morning tea and lunch including fruit will be provided on each day. Kitchen
facilities and nearby cafes are also available for those with more eclectic tastes.

Participants are asked to provide their own clothing suitable for rope access works (close fitting with full
leg and arm covering). Overalls are ideal, and stout footwear is recommended. Please remove any
jewellery or exposed piercings etc prior to the course start each day.

All training equipment will be provided.
