1.0 PURPOSE

To document the methodology followed at QuEST GLOBAL MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LIMITED for
Recruitment, planning, scheduling, conducting and monitoring of Training programs. To identify, provide, and
track training that will help employees to minimize customer grievance and increase operating efficiencies.
Training needs are identified and discussed by MR during Management Review Meetings. All department
heads are responsible for maintaining training needs within their department.

2.0 SCOPE

This procedure is applicable to all the following systems and standards

- ISO 9001: 2008

- ISO / TS 29001: 2010

- API Spec Q1, 8th edition

To cover recruitment of all personnel for proper functioning of various operations

different functional levels depending upon the requirements from the Individual department.

8.0 IDENTIFICATION OF TRAINING NEEDS

 The knowledge and skills of employees necessary for the department to achieve QMS objectives will
be identified by the Process owners and approval will be done by the General Manager.
Knowledge and skill levels will be considered in recruitment and personnel selection as per Skill /
Competency matrix. Ongoing development of employee skills will be accomplished through internal
and external training programs.
 Training for Internal Auditing will be given to suitable Personnel.

9.0 IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAINING

 Training towards achievement of policies, objectives and targets will be provided to all personnel
within the department.

New Employees will be given training which includes training in the methods and skills required to perform
their tasks in an efficient and competent fashion and knowledge of the impact that their activities can have on
the QMS and business processes if performed incorrectly.

RECRUITMENT & TRAINING PROCEDURE

 On the Job training will be given to each and every department to ensure that employees have
appropriate and current knowledge of regulatory requirements, QMS policy, department’s procedures
and objectives, and the consequences of noncompliance.

 The level and detail of training will be determined with the help of Process Owners

 Suitable personnel will be trained as Internal Auditors.

 Monitor the training effectiveness in day to day work and highlight the same in inter-departmental
meetings and with the department employees.

10.0 PROCEDURE

10.1 Recruitment of personnel

 Get manpower requisition details from concerned Head of the Department

 Collect the Resume / CV details through consultants, advertisements and references in the available
database

 Shortlist the candidates from the resumes which matches the pre-requisites

 Conduct interview by relevant process owners / HR

 Based on the output, shortlist candidates

 Inform the candidate about the selection

 Issue offer letter and appointment order as per concerned norms

 Conduct Induction Training & On the Job Training

Training and qualification record of each employee is maintained till their tenure of service in the organization.

11.0 API - QMS SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1. QuEST GLOBAL MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LIMITED has established a control feature to


detail about awareness & training through this QSP – 09

2. Training at QuEST GLOBAL MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LIMITED is provided to all concerned


through a structured annual training calendar, for personnel who perform activities
addressed in the QMS

3. The annual training calendar covers both QMS training and on the job training of personnel.

4. The frequency of training is defined in the annual training calendar

5. Personnel whose work affect product quality are informed periodically through internal
communication means about the consequences to the customer of nonconformity to quality
requirements
