The article refers to the climatic phenomenon in Africa that has led to an extreme drought in
Cape Town, this problem is due in large part to the non-planning of water levels for these
areas, but we can not only refer to the evil use of the liquid, we must also mention the
variability in rainfall patterns that have led to the drying of six dams of vital importance to be
able to guarantee the supply of the liquid, to this added the long period without rain worsen
day by day the situation already extremely delicate. There are ways to face this problem,
short and long term solutions such as the one that will be carried out in April called "DIA
CERO" program that will be used to restrict per capita consumption to only 50 liters / day, 7
times less than the average in the United States, the other solutions include the construction
of reservoirs, dams and pipe repair, but they are already medium-long-term solutions.
Solutions that in the medium-short term should have a critical priority level since according
to studies by this situation in 2030 around 40% of the population will live in watersheds under
water stress levels.

The concept of circular economy refers to the intersection of environmental and economic
aspects. Seeking to ensure that products, components and resources in general maintain
their usefulness and value at all times.
If we take the concept of circular economy in water resources we can refer to the issue of
distribution where you can clearly see an example in the optimization of energy
consumption. By channeling water at lower pressure, less power is required and with lower
water losses due to leakage related issues. Another benefit is associated with the greater
wear and tear on infrastructure, which represents a benefit, as it avoids cost overruns in
maintenance and repair of pipes.
Another topic touched on is the reduction of consumption of raw materials, fossil fuels based
on carbon, energy and water throughout the production process for companies, especially
those in the industrial sector.

No space, no problem.
The article cited in general terms refers to the optimization that makes the Japanese capital
Tokyo of its spaces so small which leads to the creation of new mechanisms to solve the
problem that is growing at a rapid pace, such as the shortage of liquid more important of the
world, water, as well as the forms that can be used for the reuse of it.

A new technology called AUMA is being implemented to ensure a reliable supply of potable
water.
The treated fresh water arrives from the city's desalination plants through an oil pipeline,
providing potable water for a projected 250,000 residents initially stored in 17 towers.
Another interesting aspect in this article is the level detector that mud blanket which reduces
energy consumption, this automatic detector, monitors, measures and controls the solid-
liquid interface levels in clarifiers and sedimentation basins. It also automates the elimination
of sediments, sludge, biosolids. This detector allows users to program the pumps to work
when necessary. With this new technology, the company says that the levels of energy
consumption, pump wear and downtime are reduced in maintenance periods.
