4. How do you ask for permission to go to toilet? (5 marks)
5. What day is today? (5 marks)

Instruction to teachers:

1. Questions should be asked in English and repeated at a maximum of five times if the students
could not understand the question.
2. Support can be given in the form of flashcard and gestures.
3. No Malay should be used
4. Allocation of marks should be given as follow;
I. Answer in full sentences with no/minimal grammatical error and no guidance: Full marks
(5)
II. Answer in full sentences with minimal grammatical error and minimal guidance: Four marks
(4)
III. Answer in understandable phrases with moderate grammatical error and minimal guidance:
Three marks (3)
IV. Answer in understandable phrases with some grammatical error and with teacher’s
guidance: Two marks (2)
V. Answer in one or two words with/without any grammatical items and with teacher’s
guidance: One marks (1)
VI. Wrong answer and did not answer at all after maximum chances (5 times) with a lot of
support. No marks (0)
