I am inquiring about the Veteran Fire Corps position in Arizona/New Mexico region
which starts in January 2017. It has long been a dream of mine to pursue a career in the
outdoors helping to conserve the very land that I love spending most of my time. I am an
avid outdoorsman who loves to enjoy nature in as many ways as possible, and would love
the opportunity to bring my many valuable skill sets into a career in which I can grow
upon and gain new knowledge in the conservation field.

After eight years of military service in the United States Army, and a great deal of hands
on experience in the field I believe I would be a positive asset to the AZCC team. As a
soldier who spent many years living and working in the field I know what it is like to be a
team player and place the mission first. It is my goal to become part of the team and find
myself working alongside some of the best people in the conservation community.
