Coffee Roasting: Spearheaded use of plasma technology to eliminate odors arising from coffee roasters: $200K in revenue
improvement.
Electrical Fields & Viscosity in Organic Streams: Developed an electrical-field based technology to decrease viscosity in
chocolate, thus decreasing energy costs: $100K in improved costs.
Waste Elimination-Printed Circuits Reflow Ovens, Molten Salt Oxidation (MSO): Established $100K research contract to build/test
unique MSO pilot system to eliminate volatile organics from Printed Circuits Reflow Ovens: $250K in incremental revenue
Automotive Technology: Steered program under contract with major automotive supplier, for use of plasma to remove carbon
deposits from engine parts: $100K revenue potential.
Plasma-Assisted Diesel Liquid (PADL): Managed long-range, $80K/month study using plasmas to react methane with diesel fuel
creating an augmented liquid fuel. Process is being scaled to semi-works unit: $1MM in potential gross margins.

TiO2 Nano-particle Manufacturing: Technical expert for Nanotech start-up to define process economics and find financing and
external manufacturing for manufacture of TiO2 Nano-particles for photocatalytic application: $1MM in revenue potential.
Laparoscopic Surgery Gases / Filtration Media, Testing Methodologies: Provided expertise on filtration media and testing
methodology for filter design to eliminate gases emanating from laparoscopic surgery sites: worth $250K to client company.
Nylon Membrane Line Study: Contracted to evaluate failing project to manufacture nylon membrane for plasmaphoresis
apparatus – recommended corrective process improvement: $1MM in saved costs to Client Company.
Powdered Activated Carbon Pharmaceutical Product: Evaluated process and economics of novel powdered activated carbon
product for pharmaceutical company: new process worth $500K to Client Company.
Carbon Block Gas Clean-up: Defined economics for compression molding designs for carbon block to be used in gas clean-up, and
developed production costs: this is $250K program for Client Company.
