Christine lindop was born in New Zealand and taught English in

France and Spain before settling in Great Britain. She has written
or adapted more than thirty books, including The Turn of the
Screw and Green P/anet in the Dominoes series. In her free time
she likes reading, watching films, and making mosaie. She is not
a skateboarder, but she likes watching the action at her local
skatepark, and her favourite sports are rugby and Formula One.

Possessive adjectives Time clauses with before, after, and when
We use possessive adjectives to say who something belongs to. We can put before, after and when clauses at the start of the sentence or at the end.
Hannah thinks, 'My birthday's coming soon.' When a time clause goes first in a sentence, we put a comma (,) after it.
