Language Testing Student
 Worked with a testing development team to create listening, reading, and writing sections of an
advanced level diagnostic for BYU-Idaho’s Pathway Worldwide program, a new online English
Language course.

Practicum Student
 Created a curriculum for an intermediate-low level community English class which I then taught to a
group of 12 students. Was observed and given feedback and correction as necessary from professors
and mentors.

 Curriculum Development January 2017-April 2017
o Worked on a team to help develop core learning outcomes and course descriptions for
various programs at Brigham Young University’s English Language Center (ELC). The
materials were developed for an online environment where novice teachers get access to
information about the various programs at the ELC.
 Assessment Development September 2017 –December 2017
o Worked with an assessment development team to help develop an advanced proficiency
level (according to ACTFL guidelines) listening, reading, and writing diagnostic for BYU-
Idaho’s new online ESL Pathway program.
