Risk transfers when seller hands over the goods into the charge of the carrier
named by the buyer at the named place or point.
Seller is not responsible for marine cargo insurance.
Seller would want to insure for own account the inland transit from plant to carriers
custody - e.g.: Loaded on truck provided by buyer at sellers premises, delivery to
container stuffing terminal or buyers Freight Forwarders. (Not used for Transport
by sea and inland waters.)
Risk transfers upon delivery of goods alongside vessel at port and date stipulated
by buyer.
Seller should insure for own account the Inland Transit from plant to alongside
