Meeting schedule

1. Presentation of activities to be developed during the visit of Dr. Keren Brown Wilson of the J.F Richardson
Foundation.
2. 2. Agree date of thematic workshops directed to the elderly.

Schedule Development

Dr. Maritza Delgadillo presents a summary of what has been done in relation to the subject of the elderly, highlighting the
recently passed congress. That there are agreements that have not been fulfilled, such as the sending of information about
the work that has been done from different careers or faculties. This limits the elaboration of the document that would be our
baseline for future volunteering activities or projects on the theme of the elderly.

We asked Dr. Milton of the Faculty of Medicine, if you can share the document of the results of the Congress of the Elderly
carried out on February 27 and 28, 2018, with the purpose of having some axes or lines of work to prepare an action plan.

Doctor Milton López (Faculty of Medicine) considers that great results were achieved in the Congress of the Elderly, among
them awareness, it was possible to break the ice for the work coordinated between several faculties. In addition, it is possible
to set up an observatory aimed not only at monitoring social indicators, but also offering training in all profiles. The biggest
challenge we have is interdisciplinary work.

Communication of arrival of Dr. Keren Brown, Richardson Foundation.

They are informed about the visit of Dr. Karen Brown, on Thursday, March 22, with the following agenda:

• Meeting with Rector - 9:00 a.m.

• Magisterial Conference- 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with UNAN teams and other guests.

• Working session with the technical team - 11:30 am - 12:30 md.

Schedule date for workshops

The team proposes that the date to hold the workshops be every Friday of the last week of each month.

• The quota is for 30 professors.

• From 6 meetings that goes from April to September 2018.

In the group the criteria for the selection of participants in the workshops were defined, these were:

• Have a particular interest in the topic of the elderly.

• Background of academic or non-academic work on the subject of the elderly.

• Commitment to replicate and share what has been learned in the immediacy (before the next meeting, no later than one
month)

• Be an active teacher that meets the three previous points.

Dr. Milton: Recommends having one or two representatives from each FAREM's, it is possible that in some careers they are
already working on the subject of the elderly, so that there is greater representation in the workshops.

MSc. Marvin Villalta (Social Work), I recommend to include in the themes of the workshops, the themes of public policy,
successful experiences, cultural and social aspects of the elderly.

MSc. Anabel Ibarra (anthropology: considers it necessary to do an articulated work with the seminar subject of integral
formation, recommends offering a quota to the coordinator of integral training seminar.
