Overview of the Activity

What: Scratch No More

Where: Manila Tytana Colleges
Who: Accounting Students and Senior High School Students
Objectives:
(1) To have source of funding for the organization;
(2) To recycle used bond papers to be used as an alternative for notepads or
notebooks and be eco-friendly by reducing waste;
(3) To allow officers to showcase their creative skills by making the scratch
papers into worth-buying notebooks.

Description:

The Scratch No More is a fundraising activity of Junior Philippine Institute of

Accountants – MTC that requires scratch papers to create notebooks or notepads that
any students can use for taking notes.

This activity started because of the needs of accounting students of something

they can write their solutions for the accounting problems. The officers of the JPIA-
MTC thought to use scratch in creating notebooks to meet the needs of the students
and also to promote an eco-friendly product to the students of Tytana.

Last January 13, 2018, the officers were able to sell 41 pieces of scratch
notebooks to college and senior high school students. JPIA earned Php 410.00 for the
first batch of notebooks. The only expense is the binding glue that cost Php 30.00
and that gives Php 380.00 profit in total.

JPIA-MTC will continue to produce eco-friendly and worth-buying

notebooks for the students. This activity of this year's officers will become a legacy
for the future officers of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants- Manila Tytana
Colleges Chapter.
