1. What is the definition of Language’s Games and Songs?
Language’s games and song is a manner or strategi in teaching that created to help
students to make and sustain the effort of learning a language.

2. What is the function and the importance of learning Language’s Games and
songs for the teacher and students?
For the Teachers :
The function of using games and songs for teacher are :
- Teaching a language become more easy and effective
- Improved the teacher’s knowledge about the student’s psychology
- Know more about the students interests and make a good way to help
student’s comprehension about the lesson.
For the Students :
Games and songs help students to make and sustain the effort of learning. Games
and songs also provide language practice in the various skills- speaking, writing,
listening and reading. They encourage students to interact and communicate. They
create a meaningful context for language use.

3. Identify the Types of Language Games and Songs!

a. Communication-based games
These games foster a conversation or a dialogue around the theme. Role-playing is
a good example: you are a restaurant owner and I am the customer. Playing with
puppets or dolls and solving a mystery together is also an engaging game for kids.
b. Games and songs that help with listening
Provide a game and song that help child listen to good input in the second
language. A song and a game with lots of vocabulary in the english language can
be a good learning.
c. Writing and spelling-based games
Learning how to write and spell words is way more fun as a game-based activity.
Playing hangman is a good example to help with spelling in the english language.
Playing multi-player games where players have to chat with each other is another
good way to practice writing.
 d. Games that encourage reading
For children that learn how to read in the second language, following written
instructions to solve clues is very helpful. A treasure hunt can be a good way to
instill that.

The description of the the game that we played last week

Name : Anagrams word game
Description : Anagrams is a tile-based word game that involves rearranging letter tiles to
form words.
Aim : - To learn more and more words.
- To Improves vocabulary of the individual.
- To Provide exercise to the brain.
- To Increase the thinking power.
- To Improves the working of the brain and response time.
Instruction : - Teacher divide a class into small groups
- Teacher give a single original word to all the groups
- The groups has to rearranging the letters from the original one into a
different word
- Each group must not has a similar arranged word
- The Group that has the most arranged word then become the winner
