Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Quizlet is easy to use for all students at any level. Quizlet includes a
listen button for students who are struggling to read advanced words. Quizlet also includes an area to insert
pictures to help with visual learners and ESL students.

Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity. Quizlet can be used as a review tool from the previous day at the beginning of class. Quizlet
can also be used as review at the end of each day’s lesson. You could incorporate Quizlet into your classroom
routine so students can use the early portion of class using it to reiterate in the beginning of class.

Right/Wrong answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions?

☒ Yes ☐ No
☐ Mixed (Some will have correct answers, other will not.)
Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all of the questions and
display correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
☒ Yes
☐ No
Why or why not? Quizlet is a good source for learning terms in which you use one specific definition.

Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity? After the students finish the Quizlet activity students
will be able to see what they got wrong and what they need to study more. The teacher will then discuss with
the class the frequently missed questions and help the students understand each concept they missed.

How will the data be used? Data collected from this assessment will be used to determine how well students
understand the content on non-communicable diseases. If students are showing struggles with the
information, next lesson can recap the content of this lesson to provide another look.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. To provide students with a quick and easy access tool
that allows them to study terms before a final assessment of the content.

Reflective Practice: Quizlet provides the students with an easy access tool to allow them to practice their
knowledge on the content while they are anywhere. They are in full control of how quickly they learn the
information. The next step that could be taken with this lesson is to let the students create their own
questions and definitions and test one another.
