5.1.- Automatic tie system description.
The automatic tie system is additional equipment placed in the upper side of the
tunnel and is the responsible of the collection and tying manoeuvres.
There are some automatic tie system models. The main different between them
is the needles number that can be 3, 4 or 5. In this case there are 4 needles on this baler.
After that the same twisters join both wires the tied turns counter value. This
1 value is selected in the counter of the power and control panel. These turns are counted
by a limit switch located in the tie system body.
I When the knot is made, the shear cuts it. Then the tying process is finished.

7.2.- Double pressure valve
If the baler is designed to bale materials with quite different densities such as
I cardboard and plastics on a regular basis, the baler is equipped with a double pressure
valve to change easily pressure on the clamp cylinder and so inside the compaction
1 tunnel.
This machine has been equipped with a load level selector to choose the right material
load level inside in-feed hopper. This selector is located in the control panel.
.I
The in-feed hopper has two load level sensors. One is located at the top of the hopper
and the other at the bottom part of hopper.
By turning this selector into Position I, the machine operator will choose to work with
I the lower load level sensor and by turning this selector into Position II, operator will
choose to work with the upper load level sensor in the in feed hopper.
u Whatever is the hopper load level sensor chosen by operator, once a level sensor is
activated and material is fed into the chamber the machine start the automatic baling
1 process (main ram forward and backward movements). When the material fills the
)
hopper until the load sensor level, the machine sends an outside signal (only for those
machines equipped with this option) to stop conveyor and avoid introducing more
1
material into the hopper.
l
Position 1: Low load level sensor is activated. Use this position for
baling high dense materials. Material loaded into the hopper ready
for baling is at the lowest level.
Position II: Upper load sensor is activated. Use this position for
baling low density materials. Material loaded into the hopper fully
fill such hopper. Load level inside hopper is high.

8.4.3.- Hydraulic oil checks.
L
In the NT2-S screen you can look the time the machine has been working. Imabe
l Iberica S.A. determines that every 4.000 hours is necessary to perform an oil check.
j An oil proof should be taken from the oil tank. This proof should be sent to
Imabe Iberica or the firm that Imabe Iberica designates. After the analysis, Imabe
Iberica or the authorised firm will send the results and all the pertinent comments.
'
IMPORTANT
If the results are negative, Imabe Iberica recommends to replace the hydraulic oil from
the hydraulic tank and from all the hydraulic pipes and flexibles.
~ Please use this checks to verify the oil filters state or condition.
Imabe Iberica S.A. recommends to replace the machine baler hydraulic oil after
7.000 hours of working. This oil change is not compulsory but it is imperative to make
another oil check to verify the oil condition.
In order to proceed with oil replacement please follow the following steps:
Empty out the oil tank by removing the oil cap and opening
Empty out the whole hydraulic circuit disconnecting all flexible and hydraulic pipes.
Unscrew all bolts onto the oil tank cover and remove it carefully avoiding to spill oil
inside the oil tank. Before this task the whole area around the oil tank cover should
be properly cleaned and all dirty removed in order to avoid dirty or dust is
introduced inside the oil tank.
Once the oil tank is empty, clean it inside to avoid new oil contamination.
) Fill in the oil tank carefully and gently in order to avoid the oil drops in violently
and gets air inside. All inlets and filters of discharge hydraulic pipes should be
covered before.

if it is necessary.
These air filters are place in the top of the oil tank and they are very easy to
change as they are only screwed to the oil tank.
