TRAINEE’S FEEDBACK ON THE ASSIGNED COMPANY

Trainee’s Name Darlito Y. Ablas

Trainee’ School Caraga Regional Science High School
Immersion Company Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office
Immersion Coordinator/Assigned Trainor Mr. Reymond A. Mosquito
Batch No./Immersion Period 1
Date January 12-March 19, 2018
Instruction: Give your honest feedback on the assigned company
I. What can you say about the Company/Unit you are assigned for your immersion?

In PSWDO, they are very kind and caring with its guests, especially to us the students
who are temporarily working in their company. They welcome us with open arms and
confident that we can be a great asset for them, and of course them to us. They have provided
us with right experiences as to what is the feeling of a social worker in the office, and solely
gives us a background of their experiences about their life as they go on with their career.
II. What can you say about the Trainer/Coordinator assigned to you in the entire
duration of the immersion program?

Our assigned coordinators are very approachable, and easy to be with. They handle us
with both balance of a standard manner but at the same time, a warmth and nurturing
behaviour.

III. In what way did the company or trainer inspire you to pursue your desired career in
College?

I am inspired by them, not because of their salary, but because of its goals and objectives.
Their work in this field is not only for themselves, but most importantly they serve for the
people’s welfare. What’s special in this field is that, you are closely link to all the people. The
emotions and feelings that you are able to serve for others, is undescribable and unmeasurable.

IV. If there is any recommendation/message you have for the company or the trainer
what will it be?

What I can say is that, I hope they will continue to serve for the people and be an
inspiration to the future social workers, because their job, based on my own perception, is that,
compared to any other professions and works, this one covers a wider perspective that is
beneficial for the people who are living in this society.

ourselves, and we are also oriented as to who are the personnel in the organization and what
are their positions.
II. What specific task/s I encountered that I find difficult to accomplish? Why?

IV. What is my general insight of the day? How did it improve me as a person?

I’ve learned that, even if your at work, school, or at home, cleaning is really the most

me a clear insight that a simple work once is done by a person, will show its true personality
and attitude.

I. What are the things did I accomplish today? And what skills or tasks did I learn
today? (enumerate and write short description)

Paper Works/ Payroll- we have been asked to arrange and organize the papers such as the
payroll. It was not an easy task for we have to categorize the papers according to peoples age,
address, etc.
II. What specific task/s I encountered that I find difficult to accomplish? Why?

It was difficult for me to organize the papers well, since it has to be categorized
properly. That is why, I really need to be very observant and focus in arranging the papers
because a little mistake could confuse the entire work.

III. Which of the task/s I encountered that is/are taught in school and which are not?

Organizing the papers is of course taught in school, however, it was much a different
papers because it contains numerous numbers, names, etc. which is unlikely similar to school
papers.

IV. What is my general insight of the day? How did it improve me as a person?

I have learned how to be patient at working, since, once you are facing a lot papers, its
like a little bit way of losing your focus and your ability to do well, but once you learn to be
patient and try again until you finished it well, then that is also the time you have
accomplished your goal.
