The majority of the students come from a Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) home or have
Planning: been in the SDA School since kindergarten; therefore, at least 95% of the students are
familiar with what I will be teaching (patience) and can relate to it in some way or
another. They may be even be able to help me in developing ideas and could have lots to
say on the topic.

I will need to apply a deeper emphasis in my teaching for the sake of students who only
receive religious education at school (not at home), who are easily distracted, or who are
usually off task. To them, I really want to dedicate this lesson. I want to reach out to
them in a profound.

The majority of the students attend Spanish speaking churches; therefore, I must make
sure that they understand the transition from Spanish to English in regards to
terminology. i.e., if I speak about patience, I will tell them that in Spanish patience is
paciencia. This will help them make connection in two languages.

Fabrizio is a student with ADHD and has trouble being still at his desk. Often times the
teacher would move his desk to a space where he is unable to distract other students and
can concentrate on his work. I want to use his help in this lesson by having him get up
and help me pass out papers and read.

from the rest as his patience with men, especially those that beat and whipped him, and killed
him on the cross. He died on the cross because he loves you and me, and so we too may have an
opportunity to live in heaven. Let’s try to be like Jesus and be patient with our friends, brother,
sister, parents, and other adults.
