Course description
This course is designed to help teachers develop fast, easy and efficient assessment tools that can
be used to assess students retention and comprehension of classroom material.

Course grading
This course is not a self-paced course, students must follow the due dates and post material by
the appropriate date to receive credit.

Pre-requisites:
The learner must be able to:
● Use internet search engines
● Log on to school email from any device
● Help students log in to their Google accounts
● Use Google Drive to send and receive documents and presentation from other users
● Download programs into a personal computer

Course objectives:
The objective of this course is to provide the learner with tools to collect information about
student knowledge while providing with a hands-on approach. This approach will allow the
learner to experience this program from a teachers point a view that deals with setting up the
program, and from a students point of view that deals with answering the questions.
By the end of this course the learner should be able to:
● Guide other on how to set up accounts on the website Plickers
● Create questions about the program that are inline with their Georgia Performance
Standards
● Collect data from students answers
● Interpret results received for the data collection
● Plan future lesson plans based on the analysis of those interpretations

Other requirements
The learner must have access to a stable connection with the internet and must be able to access
the Edmodo Classroom associated with this online class. It is the student's responsibility to
follow the schedule and post assignments on the online repository created by the instructor
specifically for this class. If the learners experience problems with their internet connection or
with posting material on the repository, the students should contact the teacher via de email that
is on this syllabus or by phone and leave a message with name, phone # and the best time to call
back. The instructor will answer your Email and phone calls within 24 hours of the first contact,
but during the weekend it may take up to 48 hours to reply, so please plan accordingly and do not
wait until to the last moment possible to reach out.
