VEDAGAMAS ARE SHRUTIS, THE AUTHORITY OF REVEALED TRUTHS IN

HINDUISM (SANATANA HINDU DHARMA). W E CANNOT SEPARATE

'VEDAS' AND 'AGAMAS'

ATMA PRAMANA - Paramahamsa Nithyananda revealed on 19/Dec/2016 -

“Vedas are the ultimate, superior authority for the Hindus. Vedas are like a
pure science, where the ultimate truths are explained, but Agamas are the
scriptures where the applied technology, the applied science is expanded. All
the Hindu bodies, whether it is Kashi Vidvat Sabha or the Akhada Parishad,
accept Veda-Agamas as Shruti. Vedas and Agamas, VEDAGAMAS are given
the status of Shruti and everything else follows like a Smritis [the
remembered revelations]. Agamas are directly revealed by Sadashiva;they
are like a practical manual of how to, what to, whe re to, when to. All these
details are answered with the right context, giving enough of understanding
and in a more sympathetic, compassionate way, with a lot of concern for
human beings.
And also I found at least 3 -4 references, Agamas are not even separa te set
of scriptures, in the Vedas itself, from Shiva Samhita starts the whole Agama.
So we can’t even use two separate words Vedas and Agamas, it’s
Vedagamas; because what is accepted as Vedas - Shiva Samhita, Agama
starts in Shiva Samhita. So we should o nly say VEDAGAMAS. For anyone
who is the follower of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, accepting the superiority,
authority of the VEDAGAMA, is the basic thing. And Masters who accept the
authority of the Vedagamas only can be called as Aaptas.”

🔱 SHASTRA PRAMANA - Sri Chandrajnana Agama, (Rudrabheda), Uttara

Regular or daily recitations, study and internalization of the Veda-Agama-
Purana certainly cause the awakening of the pure knowledge and
consciousness of Dharma, the eternal cosmic law; and Jnana, the pure
science and knowledge (of Shiva). This is known as the third Shila. (55)

Having courageous faith and powerful cognition on and about the Agama
Nigama, the pure scriptur es as authoritatively revealed by the Guru has been
called śraddha, the forty second Shila.

Explanation:
In the above pramanas, Bhagavan Anantarudra beautifully, specifically uses
the term ‘VEDAGAMA’, glorifying the need for studying and internalizing th e
Shastras, the ultimate scriptures to experience the knowledge of Shiva, the
pure consciousness. This term ‘VEDAGAMA’ comes directly from Sadashiva’s
cosmic dictionary.

In another verse from the Chandra Jnana Agama, while expanding on ‘Shilas,
the powerful cognitions and dispositions’ for a seeker, He specifies the need
of the Guru, who is established in the Vedagamas, and one must learn the
Vedagama only from the Guru, this is called Shraddha, the authenticity
towards the Guru, who is Sadashiva, the pers onification of Truth. Therefore,
any truth revealed by the true Guru is grounded on Veda -Agamas and he
accepts the authority and cosmic legitimacy, as His own Atma pramana, his
direct experience ; and only then does it become the direct experience for a
disciple or seeker of truth. Sadashiva defines the basis of sanatana hindu
dharma - dharma-jñāna eka bodhināṁ - the awakening of dharma which is
eternal and pure awakening of knowledge.
