Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 is a part synthetic premium performance Fuel

Efficient SAE 10W-30 engine oil that contains intelligent molecules that cling to your
engine, forming an extra layer that protects during start-up and beyond.

When the engine stops, ordinary oils drain off critical engine parts, however Castrol
Magnatec’s intelligent molecules don’t - they cling to the engine like a magnet
providing an extra layer of protection ready to protect from the moment you turn
the key.

Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 is micro filtered and with its signature green
colour it is your guarantee of professional quality.

Castrol Magnatec Professional provides Instant protection from the moment you
turn the key.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 is formulated for most types of new Australian,
Asian and American passenger, 4WD and light commercial vehicle engines – petrol
or gas, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, which are designed to run on lower
viscosity fuel efficient engine oils.
Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 complies with the Australian motor industry agreed
phosphorus limits to assist in prolonged exhaust catalyst and oxygen sensor life.
Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 is suitable for use in automotive petrol engines
where the manufacturer recommends an API SN/CF or earlier specification 10W-30
lubricant.

PERFORMANCE LEVELS

Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 is recommended where the following current and
superseded classifications and performance levels are cited.

 American Petroleum Institute (API) Service Classification:

Petrol: SN, SM. SL (SJ, and all superseded classifications)
Diesel: CF

 ILSAC: GF-4, GF-3, GF-2

* Meets all performance requirements of API SM but not chemical limits.

Castrol Magnatec Professional 10W-30 is considered non-hazardous according to Work

safe. However, in line with safe handling practices, it is recommended that the handling
instructions outlined in the Castrol Material Safety Data sheet be followed.

Spillage

Small: Soak up using an inert mineral adsorbent such as Castrol MOP

and dispose of in the appropriate manner.

Large: Corrective action usually dictated by individual company

safety procedures. Immediate containment and subsequent
removal is essential.

Disposal: Oily materials must not be allowed to enter groundwater,

watercourses, sewerage or drainage systems. Refer to local
Waste Disposal Authority for legal requirements.

Product Removal

Bare Metal Surfaces: Remove with Castrol solvent cleaners or water based
degreasers.

Hand Cleaning: Use any of the Castrol range of hand cleaners, e.g. Care Clean
Plus.
