The Small Faces, An audience
with Strictly’s Ian Waite and
Natalie Lowe, Dreamboys,
Showaddywaddy, The Naked
Truth, One Night of Queen
and Mad about the Musicals,
starring Gareth Gates. We also
welcome Live Screenings to the
Kings, starting on 23rd April
with Shakespeare Live!, a
unique event marking the 400th
anniversary of the death of
William Shakespeare.
In June we take part once again
in Portsmouth Festivities and
are excited to welcome
Papillion Noir, a professional
theatre company from Caen
who will be staging workshops
in schools and performing
aboard HMS Warrior 1860.

PANARIELLO
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
Renowned artist, Pippo Panariello, will be taking up residency in the
Kings Tower Artist Studio to develop his work and partnering with
schools to provide workshops for young people which will inspire pupils
to think beyond their boundaries and use a variety of art materials to
create pieces around the theme of ‘freedom’.
Head of Art at the University of Naples, Pippo established the Museum
under 14, the online children’s art museum. Artworks created by pupils
in the workshops will be displayed on the online museum. During his
residency Pippo’s work will also be exhibited at the Kings Theatre and
other local venues.

Symphony to a Lost Generation is the world’s first fully holographic stage
production, a visual and aural spectacular featuring an Oscar and

The Kings has been building its links with theatres across Europe
to offer unique and exciting cultural opportunities for Portsmouth
residents and the Kings Youth Theatre.
Papillion Noir, the professional and Youth Theatre company based
in Portsmouth’s twin city, Caen, is partnering with us on various
activities including internships and joint Youth Theatre workshops.
As part of a Portsmouth Festivities co-commission, Papillion Noir are
