Mercedes-Benz Finance (MBF) in Japan is committed to provide financing services of the finest
quality to Mercedes-Benz customers and authorized dealers throughout the country.

Role Working in the automotive financial environment, you will work with our
business intelligence Team to enhance our data analytics competence. You will
be able to apply your statistical or data modeling skills to the real world data
and create insights to our business.

Based on these requirements, we offer 1 position:

Data Analytics and Machine Learning: You will need to program in SAS/ R
or equivalent analytical software to conduct the statistical modeling and
analysis on our data

Salary Living expense support of JPY 130.000 per month.

Location Tokyo (Shinagawa Seaside Station)

Requirements Must have: knowledge about MS SQL, SAS/ R or equivalent data analysis
software to apply advanced statistical modeling or machine learning skills. e.g.
regression, decision tree, cluster analysis, etc... Logical & structured thinking,
clear & concise communication skills in English, keen to get hands-on business
and programming experience.
Preferred: Master students in quantitative areas. Know-how in AI, machine
learning, advanced Excel, Japanese language skills, would like to purse his/her
career as a data scientist.

Visa Status Applicants must remain students during the entire internship (due to local
labor laws) and shall indicate which visa they plan to apply for.

Duration Data Analytics: From May15, 2018 to Nov. 15, 2018
