The presentation of all content related items
such as assessments and presentations
utilizes a variety of technology tools.
Examples include a formative assessment
using a PowerPoint for my Foundations Math
class to utilizing the Wordle graphic utility to
showcase the importance of every Science
branch to new students.
All faculty in my district are able to
communicate with one another through
Microsoft Outlook and collaborate on
Microsoft Teams. My Webquest on “Parts of
a Whole in Action” required students to use
the web to complete the assignment.
All technology/computer tools were selected
based on the DESE criteria. I created a
product comparison of such tools that would
be best to support instruction in the
classroom.
As research tools for assignments have gone
from the library to the World Wide Web, it is
imperative for teachers to instruct students
on proper etiquette to cite sources and be
aware of expectations and rules.
As my district continues to move forward
with incorporating the necessary tools for
teachers to succeed in instruction inclusion
classrooms, it is imperative for teachers to
use these resources effectively as I
demonstrated in the Dreambox Learning trial.
As an individual who has consistently stayed
ahead on the learning curve in the field of
Technology and Electronics, I have always
helped others when needed. An example as
how I would advise the entire school to
improve technology in the classroom was
made in Technology Proposal.
