PERSONAL SUMMARY
A capable and well trained librarian, I am deeply committed to delivering high quality service to library us-
ers. I share my enthusiasm for the possibilities offered by rapid technological change with both colleagues and the
public. I help people articulate their information needs and cultivate the skills to fulfil them. When I do my job
well, individuals are able to discern what is of value to them, empowered to continue learning, and inspired to par-
ticipate in a meaningful way. I am qualified to perform all daily administrative duties, and also to offer reference
assistance and information literacy instruction. Collaboration is an essential component of all my efforts.
I am presently seeking a position as alibrarian in a public or academic library.
