Professional Development Plan

 I want to manage the students while I explaining the lesson.

 How to manage the classroom and dealing with students.
 I need to use different types of question.

 To try to using different types of the question while I explain the lesson.
 Using reward system to engage and motivated the students.

 The students will listen to the teacher and behave their self because always they want their name
being in the happy face and awesome group.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

A teacher will do:


 Greeting the students.
 Ask the students about the day and date.
 Review the students the numbers that they take it before.
 I will show the students video about the new number they will learn about it.
 Ask the students what they see from the video.
 Let the students count the things that they see from the video.
 Explain that today they are going to learn a new lesson.
 I will choose a student to jump from the carpet to the door to see the length how many will
be.
 I will ask the students how many she jumps.
 I will ask two students one of them will get 10 sticks and the other one will get 8 sticks.
 Then they will count it together with other students to know how many sticks we have.
 I will ask students to give me sentences with number eighteen.
Students will:
 Remember numbers that they talk it before.
 The students were getting ready to learn the new lesson which “number 18”.
 The students will see a flashcard of numbers to know the new number that we are going to
learn about it.
Time: 20 min

 The students will learn the new words of the lesson “eighteen”.
 The students will give me a sentence with “number 18”.
Whole

 Students will learn if they count 10 sticks and 8 sticks how many will by, and any other
numbers if they count it together give them “number 18”.
Independent Experience activity 1:

High level activity:

 I will explain the activity for the students.


 The students will sit on a table and they will have the resource (flashcard, Marker).
 I will give the students instruction that when they finished the should close the marker, and
they should make a circle of “number 18” between the rest of numbers.
 Then they should count how many “number 18” that they make a circle on it to write it in
their small board with marker.
 The students before they move to another centre the students will put all the flashcard and
marker in the basket for next group.

Independent Experience activity 2:

Medium level activity:


 I will explain the activity to the students.
 The students will sit on a table and they will have the resource (flashcard).
 The students will follow the instruction which they will have a card of numbers and card of
mark bigger and smaller.
 Students will have two different numbers they should put the bigger or smaller or equal
between the numbers.
 The students before they move to another centre the students will put all the blocks and
flashcard in the box for next group.

Independent Experience activity 3:

low level activity:

 I will explain the activity for the students.


 The students will have the resource on a table and they will use the small balls and strings.
 Then they should put eighteen balls in the strings and count how many balls they have to
write it in their small board.
 In the end, make sure that the students returned the balls in the basket.
 The students before they move to another centre the students will put all the blocks and
flashcard in the box for next group.

 Students will have 5 minutes to clean up the areas, then I will ring the bell to the students to
10 min

back to the carpet.


 I will ask the students about what they understand from the lesson, let the students count from

1 to 18.
Time:

 I will ask the students to make eighteen circles and write “number 18”.

Assessment

 I will divide the students into groups and I will give each group a flashcard of different numbers they
should make a circle of number 18 between the rest of numbers.

Overview of the lesson was excellent in terms of activities and how I explain the concept. My
MST was observed me in that day to give me her feedback, and I got great feedback better than
the last lesson so I saw how I developing my mistake and the weak side. My MST was proud of
me and the students were interested in the activities.

 The lesson for KG2-4.
 Age 4 to 5 years old.
Where did the lesson take place?
 The lesson was in the classroom.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
 I tried to explain the concept and the activities of the lesson in easier way so I can saw
how the students understand.
What did the students do?
 The students learn how to count from 1 to 20 and recognized number 18.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
 I explained the concept in easy and different ways to suitable for all levels of the students
to understand the concept faster.
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
 The students learn the new number which is “number 18” and they learn different
numbers if we count together to give us number 18.

 I read for the student’s story about number 18.

 I achieved my goals on this lesson that I taught the students, in this lesson the students
were comforted with me and I saw that from their reaction during the lesson better than
the last lesson when I taught them “number 16”.

 Having difficult activities to keep the students having challenge between them.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
 Change the strategies between times to time, because not all the strategies can work with
all the students.
